Meet Our Founder
“The vision of Bridge of Life was born from a deep encounter with God and a burden for the lost.”
Pastor Barnabas Yohanna
Pastor Barnabas Yohanna is an anointed servant of God with a proven healing ministry followed with amazing signs and wonders wherever he preaches the word of God. The Son of a Pastor, he rebelled against the teachings of the church and an early age until the Lord delivered him
He had his initial ministerial training at the Prestigious All Nations for Christ Bible Institute in Benin City, Nigeria under the mentorship of the world renowned Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory.
He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Abuja, A postgraduate degree in Education from the National Teachers Institute, Kaduna, a Postgraduate and a Masters Degrees in Theology (Missions and Evangelism) from the ECWA Theological Seminary (JETS), Jos, Nigeria, a Master of Criminal Justice from the Kaduna State University and a Masters Degree in Criminology from the University of Abuja, Nigeria.
He is the author of many books, and publications including the best selling Born in a blaze, The return of the church, Crocodile in a lizard world, Giving your life away and many others.
His music audio: Healing Rain is fast becoming a favorite in many homes as God’s healing power has been released through the anointed songs in the CD. He is a much sought after speaker and preacher and he has travelled extensively preaching the gospel in over 28 countries all over Africa, Asia, North America and the Caribbean. His gospel campaigns and healing services have attracted crowds of up to 40,000 in a single service.
His ministerial engagements include Presiding over the Bridge of Life Missions, serving as Pastor of Destiny Life Church Kaduna, Conducting massive gospel campaigns, hosting and preaching at healing services, overseeing a Missions training school, overseeing the various churches under Bridge of Life Missions, and as President of Bridge of Life Academy and Children's Home and other facets of the ministry.
He is married to Esther, an equally anointed and gifted music minister and together they have raised three children, Daniel, Joshua and Natasha.
